Laura Walker, Ph.D. is the Head of Infectious Disease Immunology and Antibody Discovery at Moderna. She earned her Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology at The Scripps Research Institute in 2012 under the mentorship of Dennis R. Burton. Following her doctoral training, Dr. Walker served as Senior Director of Antibody Sciences at Adimab, where she led studies of human antibody responses to emerging viral pathogens including Ebola, Zika, yellow fever, and SARS-CoV-2. In 2020, she co-founded Adagio Therapeutics and served as Chief Scientific Officer, overseeing a broad research portfolio in viral immunology and advancing the discovery and development of monoclonal antibodies targeting influenza and SARS-CoV-2.
